Friends of Te Wairoa is a community group working to restore the mauri or heath and life force of the Wairoa River, Auckland’s second largest river.

The river catchment includes Ararimu, Paparimu, Hunua, Clevedon and Ness Valley.

Our work includes supporting  property owners and local communities with native revegetation and pest control.

For support in carrying out pest control on your property or for more information, you can contact the pest control coordinator, Lenny, at pestcontrol@tewairoa.org.nz.
