Friends of Te Wairoa is a community group working to restore the mauri or heath and life force of the Wairoa River, Auckland’s second largest river.

The river catchment includes Ararimu, Paparimu, Hunua, Clevedon and Ness Valley.

Our work includes supporting  property owners and local communities with native revegetation and pest control.

Already have traps and bait stations?

We would love it if you could map them on Trap.NZ, and even better, keep records of what you catch. Don’t worry, the exact locations are kept private, it just lets us know roughly where action is happening in the area.
