The C.R.E.S.T is a new initiative which aims to protect the rare and wonderful coastal birds that live along the Southern Manukau Harbour.

The project area covers Clarks Beach, Rangiriri Creek, Elletts Beach, and Seagrove. The main focus of the project is reducing the numbers of introduced predators to allow coastal bird populations to flourish.

Auckland Council are currently supporting local residents to carry out pest animal control on their own properties and controlling weeds along the coastline.

Please get in touch if you would like to be part of this project!
