Predator Free Whitford

We here in Whitford are doing our part to protect this special corner of New Zealand from introduced predators. We have big goals – clearing hundreds of hectares of possums and making sure the foreshore is predator-free to protect our seabirds. If you’re keen to check traps and bait lines or want to set up your own lines on your own property, we would love to hear from you.

Already have traps and bait stations?

We would love it if you could map them on Trap.NZ, and even better, keep records of what you catch. Don’t worry, the exact locations are kept private, it just lets us know roughly where action is happening in the area.
