Mauku / Patumahoe / Pukekohe working bee. (Weed control and tree planting)

This is the first event of a regular weekly Friday working bee that will be focusing on the Mauku / Patumahoe / Pukekohe area. We will be doing both weed control and tree planting and will be sorting out woolly nightshade and gorse, as well as releasing some of the young native plantings done in the area over the last couple of years. The weather forecast for this Friday is great, so come out and enjoy the sunshine while it’s around, as we will be in a very pleasant working environment.

This first session will be on Friday 25 June from 10.00 – 12.00 at St Brides Church, Findlay Rd.

Please bring: A sharp spade, gloves, solid footwear, and some lunch for afterwards.

The event is finished.
