Karakia → Korero/ history of the whenua with Matua Selwyn Herewini (Ngaati Te Ata Taiao Team) → Health and safety/ planting demo → Kai ranui → Paanui

We’re looking for some keen volunteers to come and help us plant sections of Rangiriri and restore the Awaruaiti riparian zone, if your keen to get fit, protect the environment and join in for some good times please reach out to Darren.Gash@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz to RSVP (Just in case we need to reach out to postpone and to get an idea on numbers for the BBQ) Due to the terrain we ask for ages 12 and older, please bring outdoor, sturdy shoes, water bottles and wet weather gear.

BBQ/lunch will be provided after the planting.
