Possum day – Sun 28th March, Miranda
This field day is on Sunday 28th March from 2.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. at 574 Findlay Road, Miranda (at the green container by the woodshed)
The Western Firth Catchments Group Trust invites you to a meeting to discuss the latest technologies available for controlling possums. There’s no cost to attend and no prior trapping experience is required.

Keith Driver- local possum controller for Miranda area
Andrew Sinclair – co-ordinator of a large community predator control project in Franklin
Gareth Levers – local farmer who has seen the benefits of possum control
There will be a display of a new type of live capture trap, which can be fitted with sensors to notify your phone when it has caught something.
