Come along and be part of a community planting day at Potts Road Esplanade Reserve at the end of Clifton Road, Whitford. Join Turanga Restoration Project, neighbours, friends, and whΔnau to help plant native trees and improve this local green space. Itβs a great way to get outdoors, lend a hand, and make a positive difference πΏ
When:
Saturday 25 July 2026, 10am β 1pm β°
Where:
Potts Road Esplanade Reserve, Whitford
Entrance to the reserve is at the end of Clifton Road near where it meets Potts Road. If you put ‘Turanga Creek Conservation Reserve’ into your mapping system it should take you right there.
Who:
Open to the general public, all ages welcome π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
What to know:
Planting will go ahead rain, hail or shine π§οΈβοΈ Please dress for the weather. Support and guidance will be available on the day.
What to bring:
- Sturdy, covered footwear π’
- Gardening gloves (optional)
- Bottle of water π§
- Sun or rain protection
- A spade if you have one (a limited number will be provided)
