Working Bee at Mauku on May 6th – this Friday afternoon
We are at Mauku, St Brides this Friday, May 6th, between 4 – 6pm. On Findlay Rd, using the entrance by the Mauku Stream bridge
We’re hoping for good turnout to boost an area we’ve already done a great deal of tree planting in. This working bee will be for clearing Woolly Nightshade and Gorse in order to prepare for some tree planting later in the year, and trail building.
Please bring: tough gloves, long sleeved clothing, (gorse is prickly!) handsaw or electric chainsaw and safety gear, a sharp spade/rake, solid footwear. Don’t forget your refreshments!
